Hello all,
I am relatively new to this discussion group, but wanted to throw out to you guys a recent project we put together.
My collegues and I at McNeese State University have put together a national engraving portfolio exchange. It features such artists as Rudy Pozzatti, David Driesbach, Jack Orman, Oscar Gillespie, Kurt Kemp and Will Fleishell (he engraved the portrait of Linclon on the 5$). The stipulations were that the paper size be 11 x 14 and the only technique to be used was burin on metal (like Durer). We got some pretty nice results..below is a link to the site....

Beginning in the Fall of 2007, I will be taking over the engraving arts program at Emporia State University, so I am working to promote this dying technique. I have plans in the future to have another exchange, but make it exclusive to students, not professionals. If anyone is interested learning more about this technique feel free to contact me.
